Learn to Play the Keyboard, Synthesiser & Keytar | Expert Lessons
Master the Ultimate Electronic Instruments
A keyboard is not just a piano that needs plugging in—it is an entire universe of sound at your fingertips. Whether you want to master an arranger keyboard for a one-man-band setup, dive deep into the fascinating world of synthesiser programming, or strap on a keytar and unleash your inner 80s pop legend, our expert tuition covers it all. At Consort Music, Arts & Events Group, we teach you how to truly utilise these incredible instruments, exploring everything from realistic string arrangements to massive, stadium-filling synth leads.
Beyond the Keys: Sounds, Synths & Technology
Learning the electronic keyboard or synth means learning the technology behind the music. Alongside teaching you essential playing techniques, rhythm, chord progressions, and music reading, we will show you how to actually navigate your instrument. We will teach you how to split the keyboard, layer complex patches, use the pitch-bend and modulation wheels, and recreate the exact sounds used in your favourite songs.
Our Approach: Fun, Relaxed, and Pressure-Free
Whether you are aiming to play in a live touring band or just want to play your favourite cheesy pop anthems in your living room, our teaching philosophy is built entirely around a fun, supportive, and highly positive environment. We champion a relaxed, no-pressure approach where the main goal is simply playing for pleasure.
Exceptional Exam Success (Only If You Choose It!)
While the sheer fun of the instrument is our main focus, we fully support students who wish to take formal graded keyboard exams. Should you choose to go down the exam route, you are in the safest of hands. Across our teaching group, we are incredibly proud of a flawless 30-year, 100% exam pass rate. We provide the technical expertise; you just bring the enthusiasm.
